Chorus America conference presentations 2026

It was an honor to present two sessions at the 2026 Chorus America conference. The first was a 3-hour Pre-conference session titled REIMAGINE YOUR CHOIR: A STRATEGIC SPRINT TO REALIGN MISSION, IMPACT, AND LONG-TERM SUSTAINABILITY. We had a full room with 30 participants who worked through difficult questions that challenged many of the assumptions we hold about the work that choirs do. The second was a 50-minute session titled COMMUNITY-CENTERED PROGRAMMING: A PATH TO SUSTAINABLE FUNDING AND MEANINGFUL IMPACT. We walked through the challenges today's organizations face as our needs have evolved and how we might meet this moment with a greater focus on our audience. It was a joy to be part of this conference and engage in vibrant conversations around how choirs can become even more important to our communities and more sustainability as a result.
